Springfield Hearing Center was founded in 2020 by Tina Mottl, BC-HIS. As someone who lives with hearing loss and wears hearing aids herself, Tina understands firsthand how important the right care and support can be.
Her goal has always been simple: make quality hearing care accessible to everyone. That’s why Springfield Hearing Center focuses on affordable solutions, working with most insurance plans and offering in-house financing with no credit check.
Most importantly, Tina and her team take the time to truly listen to each patient and help them find hearing solutions that fit their needs, lifestyle, and budget.

The Story Behind Springfield Hearing Center
Springfield Hearing Center’s story is deeply personal for Tina. Her father, Chuck Lawson, lived with hearing loss after serving in the Navy during the Vietnam War, where he worked as an aircraft mechanic on a carrier ship surrounded by constant engine noise.
Chuck later became the familiar and humorous face of Springfield Hearing Center commercials around town. His funny personality and famous line, “Now I heard that!” made him instantly recognizable in the community and helped many people feel comfortable talking about hearing loss.
But behind the humor was a real experience of living with hearing challenges—and that experience inspired Tina’s journey into hearing healthcare.
